They focus on large-scale conferences, roadshows, and industry awards, working with major brands. They are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to join their team.
About You
You are a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in business development, preferably within the event services industry. You excel at identifying new business opportunities, relationship building, and closing sales. You enjoy securing new clients and collaborating to deliver compelling proposals and pitches.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospecting & Relationship Building: Identify and engage potential clients, especially medium-sized and blue-chip companies. Develop strong relationships with decision-makers.
* Client Engagement & Meetings: Conduct meetings to gather requirements, understand client needs, and build rapport to convert prospects into clients.
* Proposal Creation & Pitching: Collaborate with Account and Technical Managers to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs. Lead the proposal process.
* Winning New Business: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, exceeding client expectations and securing new contracts.
* CRM Management: Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline in the CRM system.
* Collaborative Sales Strategy: Work with marketing, account management, and technical teams to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
* Market Research & Networking: Stay informed about industry trends, market opportunities, and competitors to create effective sales strategies.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience: 3-5 years of successful business development, ideally in events, production, or creative services sectors.
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to close high-value deals.
* Sales Mindset: Proactive, results-driven, entrepreneurial, highly organized, capable of managing multiple opportunities.
