Job Description for Pharmacy Dispenser
Hourly Rate: £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

You'll work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference in patients' lives.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring they leave informed and confident.
* Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions, while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
* Complying with legal, professional, and company guidelines.
* Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
* Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimising dispensing losses.
Requirements:
You should have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and relevant experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is necessary. We support your development to complete this training within 6 months of joining. Opportunities for further professional development include NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services and registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role. Your pay and benefits will reflect your qualifications and roles as you progress.
