Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join their team. The role involves providing responsive, accurate HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice on employee relations issues, manage cases related to disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and more, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
2. Case Management: Oversee employee relations cases from initiation to resolution, including drafting correspondence and managing ACAS processes.
3. Technology and HR Systems: Maintain accurate data records, generate reports, and ensure policies are accessible and compliant with GDPR.
4. Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with managers, HR partners, and colleagues to facilitate effective employee relations support.
5. Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, advising managers on employee relations aspects and legal considerations.
6. Projects: Collaborate with the People team on departmental objectives and review employee relations materials.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven HR advisory experience with a focus on employee relations and employment law.
* Strong case management skills and knowledge of GDPR.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
* Experience working in a corporate or professional services environment.
* Knowledge of TUPE, redundancy processes, and HR systems.
