A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Warrington, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support individual pupils and small groups, including those with additional needs. You will help create a positive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued and can achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include: Providing targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) Assisting in the delivery of differentiated learning activities Supporting classroom management and behaviour strategies Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to reinforce learning Helping to assess pupil progress and record observations Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour across the school About You: We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about working with children Patient, caring, and adaptable Able to work as part of a team and use their initiative Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Essential Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting A good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSEs or equivalent) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desirable: Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language needs) Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) What We Offer: Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development A well-resourced and inclusive learning environment The chance to make a genuine difference in children's lives How to Apply: Please submit your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role
