About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. In this role, you will plan and deliver care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks include assisting with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and providing social and recreational activities, including medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, communication skills, and time management are essential. You should be considerate and kind in all interactions.
