Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Enablement team within Marketing, Admissions, Recruitment and Communications. As the CRM Officer (Systems), you will work closely with key stakeholders, including IT Services, in supporting the implementation, management and development of the key systems that enable the success of our staff.
You will lead on the configuration and customisation of technical solutions, in collaboration with system support teams, representing the dynamic needs of our operations, while ensuring a high level of compliance and quality in all we do. This role will be a key point of support for users, with a strong focus on customer service and delivering a high-quality experience for all stakeholders, including training, and work closely with relevant IT and external support teams to resolve issues.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Contribute to the implementation and configuration of the student recruitment CRM solution, including lead capture, mass communications, student recruitment events, enquiry management and system support.
* Deliver key business-as-usual activity relating to business systems, including solution design, user interface design, data and reporting processes, supporting Business readiness, User Acceptance Testing, launch and adoption.
* Manage the creation and maintenance of various forms for data capture.
* Be responsible for understanding system capabilities in delivering activities and work with stakeholders in capturing new features and change requests.
* Be the key link for colleagues in system-related business and technical issues, liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate.
* Work on implementation and development projects with external stakeholders and vendors, ensuring solutions are delivered that effectively meet the business need.
* Contribute to the development of policy and procedure relating to new activity, including user and data management.
* Be confident in reporting requirements to segment and target audiences, working closely with colleagues to determine the most effective route for mass communications and enquiry management.
* Have a full understanding and deliver work supporting CRM fundamentals, including data management, workflows, data schema/relationships, user permissions, segmentation, external linkages and overall configuration.
* Advocate for system use-cases and processes across the service, working with colleagues to support integration into business-as-usual.
* Ensure all activity is in line with the University’s data security policy and data security best practices.
* Support the work of the broader team on the integration of data from standalone systems.
* Carry out other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post, including attendance at events and other critical business activity throughout the year including evenings and weekends.

Essential criteria
* Excellent hands-on problem-solving skills, with a prompt, practical and efficient approach
* Excellent team working skills, a deep commitment to service excellence and the capacity to work flexibly and effectively with key stakeholders
* Demonstrable experience of working with CRM (or adjacent systems) to deliver against a range of business needs
* Experience in data management and using workflows to achieve business solutions
* Understanding of developing and following technical/business processes to deliver activity consistently
* Experience of working in business change and implementation projects
* Experience in training and support models for business system operations
* Knowledge of industry and sector CRM developments and innovations
Desirable criteria
* Have demonstrable experience in Java/C#, HTML/CSS/PHP, SQL/relational data management and adjacent technologies

Salary: £38,784 - £47,389 per annum with potential to progress to £51,753 per annum
