The Role:
As Commercial Manager, you will lead a team of experienced Account Executives, ensuring the delivery of first-class service to an established corporate client base while driving new business growth.
You'll oversee a portfolio of key clients, provide strategic input into division growth, and lead from the front - balancing operational management with hands-on client and market engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and developing a team of Account Executives within the Corporate Division
* Managing a portfolio of significant, long-standing corporate clients
* Driving client retention, service excellence, and cross-selling opportunities
* Supporting and mentoring team members to achieve growth and performance objectives
* Developing new business opportunities and leading on complex client wins
* Ensuring compliance with company standards and FCA regulations
* Working closely with senior leadership to shape strategy and client propositions
About You:
* Experienced in commercial or corporate insurance broking
* Proven track record in team leadership and client relationship management
* Strong technical understanding of corporate insurance products
* Commercially minded with a focus on growth, retention, and service excellence
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
* Capable of managing both clients and people in a high-performance environment
* Cert CII or Dip CII qualified (or equivalent experience)
