Overview
Assistant Psychologist - part time, fixed term
To support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use the Centralised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) service. This is a 12-month fixed-term role, 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to aspects of the DBT programme, including Assessment, Group, Consult and some DBT-Informed individual work under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist.
* Undertake independent work as agreed with the team leader and the supervising psychologist.
* Assist in clinically related administration, conduct audits, collect outcome statistics, and participate in other project work as appropriate and agreed with the team leader and supervising psychologist.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive with unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times, including community-based work across the 11 bases.
* Be prepared to travel as required to different bases as part of the role.
