People & Procurement Data Consultant
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 DOE
Location : Bupa Place, Salford Quays M50 3SP 1 day per week in the office – Hybrid working
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

As a People Data Consultant you will be responsible for consulting with stakeholders across the BGUK market unit to enable data-driven decisions. This entails transforming complex data insights into compelling narratives that inspire actionable steps as well as work in partnership with our senior stakeholders to create insightful people MI (Management Information) for all areas of the business, from sales, operations, and support functions. You will deliver exceptional service, ensuring reports meet our stakeholders needs and that business objectives continue to be met.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards (mainly in Excel and Power BI) as a portfolio of MI for the market unit. You will also be responsible for answering ad hoc business queries through ServiceNow and apply self-serve first principles. Additionally, you will work to ensure that all visualisations and communications are compliant with applicable controls and policies.
Key Responsibilities
As a People & Procurement Data Consultant, you will:
1. Demonstrate strong numerical and problem solving ablitiies to analyse and interpret complex data sets transforming data into MI.
2. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy and data quality, implementing data validation processes to ensure compliance
3. Understand the core elements of HR and how HR process and technology serves as an enabler for employee experiences
4. Proficency in data visualisation tools and techniques to create clear and compelling presentations
5. Active learner and consistently look for new skills, tools and techniques to deliver across the business (i.e. Power BI communities)
6. Proactive at ensuring the customers needs are met within reporting solutions, ensuring solutions are robust and user friendly
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
Essential:
7. Excellent stakeholder focus, with the ability to assess needs, build relationships, and manage expectations.
8. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Power Query.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data quality.
10. Confident in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.
11. Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple priorities with ease.
Desirable:
12. Experience within People or Procurement systems.
13. Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
14. Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP.
