SQL Server DBA- SC Cleared/DV Cleared

SQL Server DBA, ideally with current SC Security/DV Security Cleared is needed to work with our central government client to support various tiered systems within the SQL database administration and development space.

The SQL DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise database systems with a primary focus on Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

This role also supports and administers additional database platforms including PostgreSQL and MySQL to ensure reliability, security, performance, and availability across the data environment.

• Extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in production/secure environments.
• Current SC Security or DV Security Clearance or eligible
• Skill with PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration.
• Strong understanding of T SQL, SQL query optimization, and database internals.
• Extensive years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in production/secure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration.
• Strong understanding of T SQL, SQL query optimization, and database internals.
• Ability Install, configure, patch, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database environments.
• Experience of monitoring database performance and proactively tune queries, indexes, and server configurations.
• Experience of managing database backups, recovery strategies, and restore testing across all platforms.

Pay rate is £400pday inside IR35- 6 month contract
Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site in Milton Keynes
