Document Controller – ISO & IMS Focus

A leading engineering and industrial services organisation is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support the ongoing development and management of their Integrated Management System (IMS).
This role plays a critical part in maintaining ISO accreditations and ensuring the consistency, accuracy and compliance of business-critical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all business documentation, ensuring accessibility and appropriate storage (digital and physical).
* Lead and maintain document control processes and systems to ensure consistency across procedural development.
* Ensure documentation is current, compliant with company and regulatory standards.
* Liaise with multiple departments to manage review and approval cycles for new and revised documents.
* Support audit preparation, documentation reviews and continuous improvement aligned with ISO standards.
* Deliver training and guidance on document control practices across the business.
* Track and report on document control performance and ensure alignment with business KPIs.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in a Document Controller, Quality Administrator or Project Support role, ideally within energy, infrastructure or related industrial sectors.
* Demonstrable involvement in achieving or maintaining ISO certification, particularly ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001.
* High level of attention to detail and document accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint (or equivalent EDMS).
* Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Confident communicating with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
* Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to wider QHSE or Business Services functions.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a relevant discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
* 3+ years of experience in document control or quality-related roles.
* Exposure to change and stakeholder management initiatives.
* Experience coordinating audit processes and leading document reviews.
