Programme Officer – Student Experience
We are seeking a Programme Officer providing administrative support for taught students, contributing to an excellent student experience.
Responsibilities
* Support key education processes including timetabling, advisor allocation, module registration, module experience surveys and field trips.
* Offer supervisory guidance to Programme Administrators.
* Coordinate and deliver teaching timetables, maintain data in Scientia, allocate students to sessions and seminar groups, and arrange room bookings and AV provision.
* Advise students in line with Academic Regulations and lead advisor allocation and module selection processes.
* Support programme reviews, act as the first point of contact for Programme Directors and Module Organisers, and coordinate project distribution and assessment schedules.
* Manage student module selections, ensure timely completion of Student Handbooks, respond to enquiries via AskQM, and maintain knowledge‑base content.
* Oversee Module Experience Surveys, process Change of Programme requests, and upload potential assessment offences.
* Handle reception duties, examination administration, coursework coordination, and participate in Open Days and Graduation.
* Support an inclusive culture, work flexibly, and deputise for the Programme Manager.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent experience, significant higher‑education administration experience.
* Strong customer‑facing skills and proficiency with systems such as SITS, Moodle or Salesforce.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability, strong IT skills, attention to detail, confidence with data, and the ability to prioritise and work independently and collaboratively.
* Desirable experience with timetabling software, committee support, and staff supervision.
