Hippo Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Senior Carers to work across residential and nursing care homes in and around the Wellingborough area.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the care team effectively during your shift.
*
Administer, record, and manage medication safely in line with policies and CQC standards.
*
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and respect.
*
Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
*
Liaise with nurses, management, families, and external professionals where required.
*
Complete and maintain accurate care documentation and handovers.
*
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures are followed at all times.
*
Act as a positive role model and represent Hippo Staffing with professionalism.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Senior Carer in a residential or nursing home.
*
Medication training and competency (essential).
*
Experience leading shifts and supervising care staff.
*
Strong knowledge of care planning and documentation.
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*
Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete ours).
*
Valid DBS (preferably on the Update Service).
*
Flexibility to work varied shifts.
