As a Chartered Valuation Surveyor, you'll be responsible for valuations, negotiations, and providing property-related advice. Your duties will include managing large caseloads, undertaking site inspections, overseeing quality assurance, and representing the Valuation Office Agency at tribunals.
You will be expected to:
* Provide technical valuation and property advice to clients and manage your caseload effectively, ensuring quality work.
* Identify, escalate, mitigate, or manage risks and issues.
* Support local and national taxation through property valuation advice.
* Appear at Valuation Tribunals and potentially the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) as required.
* Act as the Lead Valuer, providing technical and valuation guidance to colleagues.
* Market sector-specific services and maintain and develop client relationships.
* Provide quotes to clients and record time accurately for billing and delivery.
* Support and develop trainee surveyors, overseeing their progress through APC and coaching peers.
