Elite Fire Solutions Limited are a Passive Fire Protection company based in a small friendly office in Basildon. We are seeking an office-based Stock Controller to join our team. This is a new role to take ownership of the logistics of materials from various small storage locations locally to sites nationwide.

Salary: £30,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Location: Fully office based, SS14 3BL
Duties and key responsibilities:
* Managing all material requirements for nationwide sites
* Raising purchase orders to suppliers on our software, simPRO
* Organising couriers, deliveries or collections dependant on location and logistics.
* Regularly monitoring and organising replenishment of engineer's van stocks
* Ability to investigate, and resolve stock discrepancies
* Liaising with the Stock Co-Ordinator on internal stock levels, stock takes and ensuring our stock management software is reflecting accurately
* Working closely with sales, purchasing, accounts and other relevant departments to organise the efficient flow of inventory
* Sourcing suppliers, fostering good relationships with existing suppliers and perform regular price comparisons to ensure value for money
* Liaise with compliance on maintaining our catalogue of materials to ensure only compliant materials are provided to site staff
Requirements:
* Excellent organisational skills with relevant experience in either planning, purchasing or inventory
* Good interpersonal skills and previous experience with dealing with customers/suppliers
* The ability to multitask as the chosen candidate will often have to work on several tasks simultaneously
* A broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operations processes
* A foundation knowledge or experience working in an accounts department would be ideal
