Our Uddingston pharmacy is a busy, well-supported branch offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated Pharmacy Dispenser who wants more than just a routine dispensing role.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. You will play a key role in the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions while supporting the delivery and growth of our expanding range of private clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions
* Supporting pharmacists with day-to-day operational workflow
* Providing excellent patient care and customer service
* Assisting with stock management and ordering
* Supporting the delivery and promotion of private services
* Ensuring compliance with SOPs, governance, and regulatory standards
Training, Development & Progression
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in community pharmacy. We actively support:
* Further dispenser qualifications and accredited training
* Development into senior dispenser or technician roles
* Hands-on involvement in delivering private services such as:
* Travel health
* Vaccination services
* Ear care
* Weight management
* Other expanding private clinical services

About You
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser (essential)
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (preferred but not essential if experienced)
* Organised, reliable, and patient-focused
* Comfortable working in a busy community pharmacy
* Keen to learn, upskill, and progress
* A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
