About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and trauma-informed team supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse. This vital service provides safe accommodation and community-based support to individuals escaping abusive relationships, helping them to rebuild their lives in a secure and supportive environment. As a Domestic Abuse Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You’ll work directly with individuals and families, offering practical and emotional support, completing risk assessments, safety and support plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: * A strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims and families. * Experience working in a support or advocacy role, ideally within a safeguarding or housing setting. * Confidence in risk assessment, safety planning, and case management. * A trauma-informed approach and commitment to inclusive practice. * The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Excellent time management and communication skills.
