Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Senior Building Compliance & Assurance Officer to work with one of our Local Authority clients in Northamptonshire. What the job will be doing * To lead and manage the compliance and assurance function across the Council’s corporate and commercial estate portfolio, ensuring that all buildings are safe, legally compliant, and strategically managed. * This role safeguards the organisation against breaches of its statutory and regulatory duties, reputation and ensures that risks are identified, mitigated, and escalated appropriately. * The post holder will provide senior-level assurance, expert technical professional advice, and robust reporting to executive management, elected members, and external regulators, driving high standards of compliance, governance, and value for money.
