RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a family run business, who are currently seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join our busy team. This is a varied role that combines accounting responsibilities with general office administration and front-of-house duties. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using Sage Accounts Line 50 and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 1.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts / Finance:
Use of Sage Line 50 for day-to-day financial operations
Job costing, raising and processing invoices and statements
Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier payments
Conducting credit control and following up overdue accounts
Preparing and maintaining service contracts
Ordering office supplies and stationery as required
Reception & Admin:
Handling and diverting incoming calls to appropriate departments (Sales, Parts, Service, Hire)
General office admin, including filing and data entry
Supporting the wider team with customer service and internal communication
About You:
Proficient in Sage Accounts Line 50
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and telephone manner
Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
Experience in a similar accounts/admin role preferred
