An opportunity has arisen to join our team in Hull as a Port Operative (Customer Operations Agent - Quay). You will support the leadership team in delivering cost-effective, safe, and compliant port operations, supporting vessel loading and discharging, ensuring maximum efficiency, and safe mooring and departure of vessels.
The role involves working on a fixed shift pattern, supporting vessel operations, and working collaboratively with the Port and Ship teams to ensure safety and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure
* A full clean driving license (HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential)
* Experience with equipment such as reach stackers, forklifts, and RoRo tractor units
* Good health and safety knowledge
* Experience working in a port environment
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including public holidays, at the Hull location.
