Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Supervise, mentor, and support kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence. Help with the planning and preparation of menus, keeping seasonal ingredients and local produce in mind. Ensure smooth running of the kitchen during shifts, overseeing food preparation, and assisting in cooking where needed. Maintain inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies. Support the management of health and safety, food safety, and cleanliness standards. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or high-end restaurant. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and quality control. A creative, passionate approach to cooking and menu development. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train others. Good communication skills and a strong ability to work under pressure.
