An NHS hospital in North West England is looking for a
dynamic Senior Antimicrobial Pharmacist
to join the pharmacy team on a locum
basis. If you’re passionate about
optimising antimicrobial use, improving patient outcomes, and driving best-practice stewardship, this could be the role for you!
What you’ll be doing:
Leading Trust-wide
antimicrobial stewardship
and ensuring evidence-based prescribing
Providing
specialist input on microbiology ward rounds
and infection cases
Supporting and monitoring
OPAT patients
Developing, updating, and auditing
antimicrobial guidelines (CQUINs)
Delivering
AMS training
and contributing to infection control & quality improvement
What we’re looking for:
GPhC-registered Pharmacist
with a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma
Strong
hospital pharmacy
experience
Significant
antimicrobial/AMS expertise
Bonus: Independent Prescriber, audit/guideline development experience
Start asap - 3months plus
Pay rate £34-£36 ph umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent)
