What will I be doing?
As their Junior Mechanical Development Engineer, you’ll be supporting the development of a range of laser systems, automation components, and manufacturing cells.
You will be fully engaged in every facet of the production lifecycle, offering support from initial prototyping to final production stages. Leveraging your expertise in both 2D and 3D CAD, you will play a key role in shaping mechanical product designs and refining prototypes. You’ll play a key role in advancing laser manufacturing applications within Tannlin systems, while also exploring new avenues for market expansion.
You’ll have the opportunity to test, evaluate, and analyse your designs, working closely with the team to ensure they meet the customer’s requirements. As you continue to develop in the role, your feedback will help to develop new laser processes, supported by your continuous improvement mindset.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* A degree (BEng or Similar) related to Mechanical Engineering.
* Proven experience in an industrial environment (outside of your studies).
* Strong 2D and 3D CAD abilities, demonstrated through project experience.
* An innovative approach to problem solving.
* The drive to learn, make mistakes, and grow in an exciting environment.
* The ability to reasonably commute to the role’s location.
