Job Description
Data Management Specialist – Brize Norton, UK You will work with a small data‑management team to verify customer logistics data records for the C‑17 operational team. Your primary responsibilities include transcribing maintenance records from technicians into secure, controlled data systems such as the US Air Force FMxC2 (G081), C‑17 Standard Flight Data Recorder (ADEMS), and C‑17 Engine Optical Quick Access Recorder repositories. You will also maintain data quality, process records, keep accountability files, and finalize dispositions of data records.
Responsibilities
• Use maintenance records with Field Services engineering colleagues to resolve routine data accuracy and integrity issues.
• Transcribe data into secure systems.
• Ensure data quality and maintain process/accident records.
• Finalize data dispositions.
Basic Skills/Qualifications
* Must be a US Citizen.
* Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Previous aircraft maintenance and/or maintenance data documentation experience.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and typing skills.
* Formal training in Microsoft Office applications and logistics data systems.
* Basic knowledge of information and data retrieval systems.
* Ability to enter, edit, and retrieve information in database systems.
* Experience working in an office environment needing flexibility and prompt response to ad‑hoc requests.
* Good written and oral communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which U.S. citizenship is required. Interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start are required.
