Responsibilities
1. Support delivery of technical solutions for major programmes.
2. Develop mechanical designs to company and international standards.
3. Carry out detailed design, calculations, tolerance studies, and CAD modelling (PTC Creo).
4. Produce drawings and manufacturing data packs (BS, GD&T).
5. Generate BoMs in Teamcenter and support design reviews.
6. Deliver solutions that meet requirements, budget, and schedule.
Skills & Experience
7. Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8. Hands-on design experience with 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred).
9. Mechanical design for electronic/EO products.
10. Knowledge of structural and thermal considerations, materials, and finishes.
11. Experience with jigs, fixtures, tooling, and cable harness design.
12. Familiarity with DfX (manufacture, assembly, test, sustainability).
13. Strong team player in multi-disciplinary environments.
