The role
We are looking for a talented and driven Business Development Manager / Site Acquisition Manager to identify and secure suitable sites for EV charger installations, working directly with landlords and property stakeholders to drive expansion. You will report to the Managing Director of the Property Team and collaborate with a team focused on accelerating the UK’s charging infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
* Identify, assess, and secure suitable property sites for EV charging hub development.
* Build strong relationships with landlords, developers, commercial property owners, and other site partners.
* Lead negotiations on commercial lease/partnership agreements and deliver successful site acquisition outcomes.
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
* Collaborate with the property, engineering, and operations teams to ensure feasibility and project delivery.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and local planning policies.
* Prepare business cases, proposals, and presentations for internal approval and external stakeholders.
Candidate profile
* Background in business development, site acquisition, real estate, or commercial property.
* Proven track record in deal-making, contract negotiation, or property acquisition.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess site viability.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment.
* Desirable passion for clean energy, mobility, or infrastructure.
* Bonus: £1,500 per site successfully executed.
* Company car provided.
* Location: Flexible, with HQ in London and some in-person team meetings.
