We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected all-through (5-16) Special Educational Needs school in Basingstoke. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the learning and development of students with Autism and other learning difficulties in a positive environment. Previous experience with special needs, children, or vulnerable adults is beneficial but not essential.
Position Details:
* Location: Basingstoke
* Hourly Pay: £13.86/hour, paid weekly
* Full and part-time roles available
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in the classroom, aiding their learning and development.
* Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Provide individual or group support to students as needed.
* Encourage and assist students' academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
* A passion for education and working with young people.
* Strong communication skills and effective engagement with students.
* Patience, adaptability, and dedication to a supportive learning atmosphere.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
