Job Purpose
The Engineering Department at Coleg Menai is a forward thinking department offering specialist courses in a range of Engineering disciplines. Teaching and learning takes place with industry standard equipment and in modern facilities, including a recently built £15m STEM building.
Key Expectations of the Role
* Provide high quality teaching in theory and workshop practical elements, creating effective learning opportunities and enabling all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
* Provide excellent extracurricular experiences for learners.
* Maintain high standards of the provision with the support given to the learners.
* Ensure that the Group's policies and procedures are followed.
* Support learners to succeed in order to achieve their targets or higher, challenging and stretching them.

* Place of Work: Llangefni
* Holiday Entitlement: Pro-rata paid holiday each academic year (1st Sep to 31st Aug), includes pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro-rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days. Annual leave derived from a pro-rata full time equivalent entitlement of 46 days.
* Working Pattern: Up to 16 hours per week available, Part time, hourly paid contract, from Mon - Fri. Work pattern to be agreed dependant on availability. Subject & Level of delivery are based on qualifications and experience. Up to 35 weeks during the Term Time (College terms). An additional percentage of between 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking.
