Love algebra? Passionate about pi? Let’s find you a classroom where you can really multiply your impact.
We’re looking for a confident, engaging Maths teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Barnsley. This is a full-time role from September, ideal for someone who can inspire students across KS3 and KS4 to see the joy in solving problems and cracking codes (even the quadratic kind).
Why this school?
* Supportive SLT who value creativity over conformity
* Excellent classroom behaviour and pastoral support
* Strong results in maths and space for you to bring your own flair
* CPD sessions that aren’t just box-ticking exercises
The role includes:
* Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
* Planning and delivering fun, challenging lessons
* Supporting students through their GCSE journey
* Making maths feel less “when will I ever use this?” and more “aha, I get it!”
You’ll need:
* UK QTS or equivalent
* Solid understanding of the secondary maths curriculum
* A knack for making complex concepts feel simple
* Bonus points if you bring humour, patience, and a killer whiteboard marker game
What you get from Protocol Education:
* Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella faff)
* Friendly, local consultant support
* FREE access to our online CPD Academy
* Streamlined registration and school matching
* Referral rewards if you bring mates along
