Corporate Business Development Manager - Total Waste Management Solutions
Location: National

The role:
The successful candidate will manage and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities worth millions of pounds with national multisite organizations within the public and private sectors, such as education, hospitals, hotel chains, and retail, to deliver profitable revenue growth. Responsibilities include managing daily activities, proactive journey planning, setting up business meetings, and driving sales with high levels of customer service.
Key responsibilities:
* Proactively seek new business nationally to meet targets
* Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual new business targets
* Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity in the CRM
* Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance reports
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders like depot managers and operations teams to implement sales initiatives within the region
* Act as the primary interface for target customers
* Present to board level
* Collaborate with tenders and bids team on tender submissions
* Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations

Candidate criteria:
* Corporate sales experience selling high-value, complex services
* Preferably with a background in waste or facilities management
* Experience selling at head office level to decision-makers
* Sold contracts valued between £500,000 and over £1 million
* Experience with consultative sales, bids, and tenders
* Proven track record in new business sales
Benefits:
* £50,000-£60,000 basic salary
* OTE £75,000-£85,000 uncapped commission
