Our Retail Operations Managers play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, maintaining high operational standards, and smashing commercial targets.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing store operations to maximise profitable sales and growth
* Creating a great place to work for everyone, whilst providing opportunities for team development within Dobbies
* Fostering your team's passion for delivering the best in-store experience by creating a brilliant customer journey
* Working closely with central support teams to maintain excellent communication and improve our business
* Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed, caring for employee and customer welfare
* Leading audit controls, maintaining company best practices, and coaching the team on good governance
* Managing stock processes from goods in to visual merchandising
* Acting as deputy to the General Manager in their absence
* Taking on duty manager responsibilities, including key holder duties
Who We Are Looking For
* Experience in retail operations management with strong operational expertise
* Commercial awareness, including understanding budgets, profitability, and driving sales
* Proven ability to manage stock controls and adhere to health & safety regulations
* Ability to identify training needs and coach staff to deliver excellent customer service and ensure safety
* Adaptability to changing priorities, workload, and regulations
* Positivity and leadership in managing change, motivating teams through seasons
