Product Developer Garment Technologist

We’re looking for a hands‑on Product Developer / Garment Technologist to join a fast‑growing sportswear business at an exciting stage of its journey. If you thrive in pace, love problem‑solving, and are passionate about product excellence, this role has your name on it.
You’ll play a key role in driving product from concept through to production, working closely with global suppliers and internal teams to deliver commercially strong, technically sound apparel — on time, every time.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning and managing the critical path to ensure smooth, on‑time delivery
* Coordinating all sample stages and sealing approvals
* Leading and contributing to fit sessions, managing measurements and factory feedback
* Sending clear, concise technical comments to overseas suppliers
* Chasing costs, samples and production updates to keep everything moving
* Managing fabric and garment testing, QC and compliance
* Ensuring products meet all regulatory, safety and quality standards
* Supporting bulk QC checks when required
* Offering technical insight and innovation on new product development
What we’re looking for
* Solid experience across men’s, women’s and juniors
* Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims and performance wear construction
* Comfortable working directly with overseas factories
(travel required, including occasional weekends/bank holidays)
* Highly organised, detail‑driven and commercially minded
* Able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, deadline‑led environment
* Confident communicator and proactive team player
* Passion for sportswear and current industry trends
