This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a Mental Health and Supported Living Care environment, working closely alongside the Director. The position is initially unpaid, designed as a developmental placement, with the potential to lead to full-time paid employment and funded training qualifications for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing direct administrative and organisational support to the Director
* Managing diaries, emails, correspondence, and scheduling meetings
* Assisting with documentation, reports, and compliance-related tasks
* Supporting day-to-day operational planning within mental health and supported living services
* Liaising professionally with staff, service users, families, and external stakeholders
* Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
* Supporting service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Undertaking ad-hoc tasks to support leadership and service delivery
Ideal Experience & Skills:
* Previous experience in administration, personal assistance, healthcare, social care, or voluntary roles (desirable but not essential)
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* A genuine interest in mental health and supported living care
* Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Willingness to learn, develop, and commit to progression opportunities
