Housekeeping Supervisor – Clarence Park Residential and Nursing Care Home
Location: Weston-super-Mare, United Kingdom
Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £13.50 per hour (+ £2 per hour overtime)
Benefits: Pension, uniform, onsite parking, 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time contract)
What You Will Do
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the housekeeping and laundry services. This includes allocating daily duties, monitoring cleanliness standards, ordering stock, and ensuring all cleaning and infection control procedures are followed. You will support and guide your team, lead by example, and help create a comfortable, calm, and homely environment where residents feel respected and cared for.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in housekeeping within a care home, hospitality, or similar setting
* Confidence in supervising a small team and supporting others to work to high standards
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment
* Good communication and organisational skills
* A caring and respectful approach to working in a home environment
