Overview
Lettings Coordinator - 12 month fixed term contract - Ferndown, BH22 9JG, United Kingdom.
We have a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity to join the Dorset Lettings team as a Coordinator. You’ll be committed to delivering a first-class service, putting our customers at the heart of all we do. Primarily you will be letting homes to new and existing customers, carrying out verification checks, taking payments for rent in advance, etc. Ultimately, you’ll see the process of letting a home out from start to finish to the point where a customer gets the keys to their new home. You’ll be computer literate, organised, pro-active and self-motivated, and you will be part of the housing team responsible for ensuring that all empty and new build properties are let as quickly as possible, working in conjunction with our maintenance colleagues and other housing colleagues.
You’ll work closely with local authorities and third party agencies, so you’ll be confident and comfortable communicating with internal and external colleagues. Ideally, you’ll have some housing or lettings experience and will be a confident user of IT. Communication and collaboration are the key to success in this role, so you’ll thrive working in a busy environment juggling lots of balls and stakeholders. You will be out and about, so having access to a vehicle for work and a full UK driving licence is a must. You can base yourself from home or the office, with the team coming together once a month in our Wareham office.
