Domestic Considerations: BPT tocommute daily to place of duty. BPT travel to other Garrison locations. BPT work outside core hours on agreement with CoC. Position Role: Responsible to the YGQM for the administration, control and management of accommodation, site security, H&S and Waste management, estates/contract matters for Garrison units, Responsibilities: Management and control of the normal accounts that an RQMS would be responsible for: including but not limited to: Ammunition, Clothing, DAS Accommodation etc. Control the safekeep of ammunition and pyrotechnics on behalf of the MoD Police. Incorporating all physical demands, initial conditioning, personal issues, item maintenance, cleanliness, storage, backloading, and disposal of equipment. 2. Supervise the day to day running of the Garrison Clothing store, (CML figure circa 1450 personnel). Including making policy decisions, ensuring personal scales are correct and dealing with any unusual requests or requirements. 3. Prepare for and co-ordinate all external Inspections and Audits. 4. Ensure all management checks and inspections are carried out in accordance with current regulations. 5. Provide G4 advice and direction to all Garrison Units. 6. Act as the Unit Radiation Supervising Officer for HQ York Garrison and the Kohima Museum. 7. Responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety and production of Risk Assessments within GQMs AOR 8. Assist in the running and setting up of all Army in Society events linked to the York Garrison.
