What You’ll Do
* Develop novel approaches to quantitative seismic analysis and subsurface uncertainty characterization
* Develop and deploy advanced solutions to common geophysical analysis workflow elements, including but not limited to well ties, seismic modeling, seismic attribute design and analysis, seismic inversion, etc.
* Build and deploy advanced methodologies across geophysical workflows, including well ties, seismic modelling, seismic attribute design, and seismic inversion
* Integrate seismic‑based interpretations and uncertainty products into broader subsurface workflows
* Combine geophysical, geological, and petrophysical inputs to constrain subsurface property estimation
* Explore the application of machine learning and AI to accelerate or enhance the pursuit of these themes
What You Bring
* MSc or PhD in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
* Significant experience working with geophysics in the energy industry
* A curious, problem‑solving mindset with adaptability and initiative
* Hands‑on experience with seismic analysis and inversion, and familiarity with reservoir property prediction and AVO/AVA techniques
* Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, C, C++, MATLAB, etc) and experience with code management systems (e.g. Git)
* Exposure to machine learning, data analytics, and/or high‑performance computing environments
