We are looking to recruit a skilled and customer-focused Property Inspector to join our Property Care Team. Reporting to our Area Manager – Repairs, our Property Inspectors provide technical inspections to support the delivery of high-quality repairs and major works. This role involves managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and delivering a customer-centric service. What do our Property Inspectors do; Inspections: Conduct pre and post inspections to ensure effective delivery of repairs and major works, and perform site inspections to ensure quality and compliance. Subcontractor Management: Build and manage relationships with subcontractors, attend review meetings, and support their work as needed. Decant Management: Arrange and manage customer decants for major works. Customer Service: Handle customer applications for improvements, investigate compensation requests, and support complaint investigations. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Collaboration: Work across MSV to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Data Analysis: Utilize property data to investigate repair volumes and support service improvements. Feedback and Complaints: Manage feedback and resolve complaints proactively. What we are looking for; Qualifications: Relevant construction/property related qualification. Professional Development: Commitment to continual professional development. Driving Licence: Full driving licence with willingness to travel across the Northwest. Experience: Expertise in property surveys for domestic properties. Experience in managing customer decants and contractors. Property defect diagnosis experience. Customer-focused service delivery approach. Knowledge of H&S and legislative requirements. Skills: Effective problem-solving and proactive work approach. Collaborative and supportive mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
