Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with the ability to operate CNC lathes and other related machinery. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Duties
* Operate CNC lathes and perform setup, programming, and adjustments as necessary.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for machining operations.
* Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
* Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain product integrity.
* Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
* Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, materials handling, and fabrication processes.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
* Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or processes.
Skills
* Proficiency in CNC programming, including experience with HAAS control
* Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for precise manufacturing specifications.
* Experience using hand tools and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Previous factory experience within a manufacturing facility is preferred, along with knowledge of quality control processes.
