Job type: Temp-Perm
Working hours: Monday Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-2.00pm
Rate: £negotiable dependant on experience

AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served sheet metal worker to join their team.
They offer excellence in Fabrication and Precision Engineering, operating out of a 15,000 sq ft facility which deals with fabrication, sheet metalwork, CNC machining, mechanical assembly and welder/ fitters.
Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.
Responsibilities and Duties are required for the sheet metal worker role:
Sheet metal and TIG/ MIG welding experience
Experience working with aluminium, stainless and mild steel
Experience with bespoke pieces, handrails, balustrades and rail
Able to use all workshop equipment such as CNC rolling, folding and lasers
Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to meet project requirements
Able to work with minimal supervision
Able to problem solve and work under pressure
Trade test and weld test required at interview stage
Qualifications and Skills are required for the sheet metal worker role:
An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
5 years experience with sheet metal
