Childcare Solicitor Permanent | 2 Years’ PQE Location: Greater Manchester Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable children? A well-established and highly regarded Greater Manchester law firm is seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join its growing childcare team. Known for its excellent reputation in childcare and family law, the firm offers a supportive and collaborative working environment. You will join a friendly team of five specialist care lawyers, supported by experienced secretarial and paralegal staff. This role may also suit candidates seeking part-time working arrangements. The Role You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, primarily involving: Care proceedings PLO (Public Law Outline) pre-proceedings work Representing clients in childcare matters Drafting legal documents and case preparation Advocacy where appropriate You will also work closely with colleagues within the childcare team to deliver high-quality legal services to vulnerable children and families. Requirements You will have: 2 years’ PQE (guideline only – applications from all experience levels are welcome) Qualification as a Solicitor Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills The ability to manage a full caseload independently A willingness to undertake advocacy where appropriate Children Panel membership (or working towards it) is desirable What’s on Offer?
