🌍 About the Role
I’m recruiting a Structural Engineer who wants real progression, varied projects, and a collaborative team. You’ll work across buildings and infrastructure portfolios in Scotland and the wider UK, taking ownership of design packages, supporting site delivery, and contributing to high-quality technical outputs.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structural analysis and detailed design to current codes, standards, and H&S requirements.
* Produce and contribute to drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
* Attend site inspections, liaise with contractors, and resolve design queries during construction.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate robust, buildable solutions.
* Support seniors and mentor graduates, helping raise the technical bar.
💡 About You
* BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Progressing toward chartership (IStructE/ICE).
* Proven design experience in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
* Confident with industry software (e.g., TSD, Tedds or similar).
* Clear communicator, team player, and comfortable managing deadlines.
* Prior UK consultancy experience and a clean driving licence.
