We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their team. This is a field-based position, working from home with a company van and fuel card provided. The role involves the maintenance and repair of a range of construction plant machinery (up to 30 tonnes), ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair construction plant machinery Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations Manage workload effectively while working independently Requirements Proven experience working with construction plant equipment Experience with Hitachi excavators and similar machinery (including LGVs) Good understanding of site procedures Able to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks Strong attention to detail Full UK driving licence NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (desirable) Package £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Company van and fuel card Pension scheme 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (with option to purchase additional leave) Life assurance (Death in Service) Ongoing training and development Employee Assistance Programme For further information or to apply, please get in touch.
