Overview
You will be based at Stratford Health Centre supporting our Community Adult Mental Health and Older Adult & Dementia Services, delivering clinical out‑patient and home treatment care to the local Warwickshire communities. This role is part of the South Warwickshire Community administration team within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
Who We’re Seeking
We’re looking for applicants with previous admin experience to join our small admin team and provide excellent secretarial service to our clinical teams, supporting the growing demand for adult mental health services.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive and accurate administrative and secretarial service for the clinical/medical teams:
o Letter generation using digital dictation (Big Hand)
o E‑mail communications
o Booking/rescheduling patient appointments
o Accurate data input onto electronic patient records systems (CareNotes / SystmOne)
o Scanning, printing, uploading
o Answering complex telephone queries
* Support the Medical Secretaries and cover in their absence
* Work flexibly with other admin colleagues to support the outpatient reception team when necessary
* Exercise judgment and work unsupervised to meet deadlines
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous administration/secretarial skills
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office essential; training provided for in‑house systems (CareNotes/SystmOne, Big Hand dictation)
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Friendly, approachable, effective communicator able to build good working relationships in a fast‑paced environment
* Team player, demonstrates sensitivity and confidentiality, works autonomously, promotes flexibility and strong work ethic, prioritises, multi‑tasks and delegates
* Able to travel to the Leamington site or attend training; travel expenses paid
* Mandatory registration with the DBS Update Service for all newly appointed staff
