The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team and oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction project management, excellent stakeholder communication, and a proactive approach to driving results on-site and behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead planning and coordination of civil engineering projects, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
2. Liaise with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scopes and key deliverables.
3. Manage day-to-day site activity in collaboration with site supervisors and engineering staff.
4. Oversee resource planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
5. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
6. Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Champion continual improvement and support innovation in project delivery methods.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing infrastructure or construction projects, ideally within highways, surfacing, or civil engineering.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, capable of coordinating teams and subcontractors across multiple projects.
* Familiarity with NEC contracts and experience delivering public sector works is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.

Pay: £70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
