Techtronic Industries are a global premier Professional and Consumer Goods organisation and we are looking for an Interim Finance Director for the UK region. This position will be a fixed term contract.
This role will be reporting to the EMEA CFO with dotted line to the UK Managing Director, this is a leadership role that focuses on commercial strategy and delivering strong results.

As the number two to the UK Managing Director, you will provide commercial insight into the financial performance of the UK region, leading strategy and making key commercial decisions. An essential part of this role is to challenge the strategic decision making of the UK MD with the right amount of governance and business partnering.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead and develop the following functions reporting to the role: Accounting, Commercial Finance, Demand Planning, Master Data Management, HR and Admin.
* Business partnering with the UK MD to deliver strong commercial strategy, highlighting new potential opportunities and risks as well as challenging and influencing where necessary
* Implementing and improving operational processes across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, ensuring effective communication and efficient processes are delivered.
* Implementing and improving robust reporting solutions to provide effective commercial and financial data in order to aid decision making
* Reviewing and validating with Sales and Marketing team monthly sales and margin forecasts by product
* Ensuring the timely delivery of robust budgets, forecasts and reporting
* Business Partnering with Sales to review profitability across all commercial deals
* Participating in the negotiations of new and existing contracts with Key Accounts
* Challenging the effectiveness of promotional activity, providing detailed analysis to influence future commercial strategy
* Deliver the statutory directorship responsibilities.
* Carry out any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.

This role will oversee most of the back office functions and will be responsible for developing and managing a team of circa 19 heads, including 7 direct reports who will be responsible for their respective functions (Finance, Master Data Management, Demand Planning, HR & Admin) reporting into this role.
Experience/Skill Set required
* Prior FD experience in a mid-size company, preferably in the Professional and Consumer Goods industry
* Experience in managing or supervising supply chain, customer services or distribution centre is preferred
* Strong Commercial experience in business partnering to Sales/Marketing Directors.
* Qualified ACA or CIMA
* Proven record of managing and developing a team successfully
* Experience and knowledge of SAP (preferred but not essential)
* Experience as an audit manager in a Big 4 firm or within internal commercial audit is preferred
* Extremely proficient in Excel and Power Point
* Detail orientated and numerically strong but with the ability to contribute strategically, operationally and commercial as a member of the leadership team
* Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
* Desire to drive change and add value both from an operational and financial perspective
