The fundamental role of a paraplanner includes:
1. Research and Analysis: Gathering information on financial products, market trends, and regulatory changes to support IFAs in client recommendations. Analyzing clients’ financial positions and future needs based on risk tolerance, goals, and tax considerations.
2. Financial Planning Preparation: Preparing detailed financial plans that include investment advice, retirement, tax, and estate planning strategies, translating broad strategies into actionable steps.
3. Report and Document Preparation: Drafting suitability reports that justify financial advice, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring advice adheres to FCA regulations, including KYC, AML checks, and proper documentation for audits.
