We are looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Fire Door Inspector to primarily cover the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire Region. The position is home based when not on site, with monthly in person meetings at our head office in Cannock, Staffordshire, or Reading/London.
Our practice is extremely busy and you will need to be flexible, well-motivated and committed to meeting client deadlines.
Activities for this post include surveying fire doors, interpretation of regulations and result data, provision of advice and report writing.
Candidates will need to have an up to date Fire Door Inspection training certificate and have practical experience within the commercial and industrial sector.
You must be flexible with regards to travel and overnight stays where necessary as there may be the need for travel to client sites throughout the UK.
To enhance your skills, further training may be offered in asbestos, water and indoor air quality monitoring
You will also need to:
* Be honest, confident, flexible to include with regards to travel and overnight stays where necessary, well-motivated and committed to meeting client deadlines, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety and quality procedures
