Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members to uphold culinary standards.
* Food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served.
* Cook and prepare meals according to the restaurant's menu, ensuring that all dishes meet presentation and taste expectations.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a breakfast Chef
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
* Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
