We are seeking an organised, professional, and friendly individual to join our General Office Team as a Receptionist / Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and representing the ethos and values of Jordans Solicitors.
About the Role
As a receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our offices. You will handle incoming calls, welcome visitors, and manage administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and process all incoming calls promptly, courteously, and accurately relay messages using our standard templates.
* Welcome and assist visitors to the office, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
* Maintain all branch areas, ensuring they are tidy, organised, and reflective of our professional standards.
* Manage email and fax enquiries, forwarding messages appropriately and ensuring records are maintained.
* Oversee client and staff booking systems in line with fire safety protocols.
* Provide administrative support as required, including managing incoming correspondence and ensuring confidentiality.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised and able to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
* Professional and approachable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient with IT systems and able to adapt to new software (training will be provided).
* Able to uphold the values ofCREATEand project the ethos of the company in all interactions.
* Committed to maintaining confidentiality and high standards of client care.

Katie joined Jordans in 2020 as a paralegal within the care department before beginning her training contract in July 2020. She completed her Professional Skills Course by February 2021 as part of her training contract.In 2022, Katie fully qualified as a solicitor and continues to work in the Care department, primarily representing parents throughout ongoing care proceedings. She is now working towards gaining experience within private family proceedings and the Children's Panel Accreditation.
